Rockit Pest announces the acquisition of Ace Exterminating as former owner is called to serve his country.
Conway, SC, May 10, 2023 – Chris Powell and his family have had the pleasure of protecting thousands of homes and businesses from pests in Horry County, SC over the past few years. While serving as a local pest expert, Chris has also served in the National Guard for the last 15 years with deployments to Kuwait and Afghanistan. When Chris got the news he would once again be deploying for active duty, he was presented with a major hurdle for Ace Exterminating. Though it was a bittersweet decision, he ultimately decided that selling Ace would be the best option for his family and for their customers.
As a small, family-owned business, and short notice of deployment, Chris knew he would have to act swiftly to make the right decision for Ace. In many cases, selling a company can take months to finalize, and for Chris, time was of the essence. When going through his options, Chris selected Rockit Pest with the confidence they would be the best steward for the legacy he built.
